Lord Mayor of Cardiff Presents ESOL Citizenship Awards

The Rt. Hon. The Lord Mayor of Cardiff, Councillor Brian Griffiths and the Lady Mayoress Val Griffiths were very pleased to present the ESOL certificates to all candidates, who have achieved the ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Entry Level 1 qualification. The event was hosted by NAID who are working to help improve the English skills of different ethnic minorities.

The Rt. Hon. The Lord Mayor of Cardiff, Councillor Brian Griffiths said:
“I am delighted to be at this event in presenting the ESOL certificates and would like to congratulate all the students for working hard to learn English, I am hopeful that they will continue in learning and working towards other qualifications”.

Councillor Mohammed Sarul Islam said:
“It is great to see such dedication to learn English in my ward Riverside, I am also very pleased to see so many people from across South Wales attending this course.”

Councillor Mozadul Hussain said:
“It am very happy in attending this event and would like to say well done to all the candidates who have worked very hard in passing this course and seeing candidates from Newport attend this course.”
