About NAID

Nationwide Association For Integrated Development — a charity dedicated to human welfare, founded on the belief that individual values and small consistent acts build lasting change.

NAID is an acronym and stands for “Nationwide Association for Integrated Development”.

NAID is a charitable organisation established on 1st April 2001 by Anwar Ali, Ana Miah and Dilwar Ali, dedicated to human welfare. We earnestly believe and highly respect individual human values. Therefore, various individual projects, development programmes is the utmost aim of NAID. Because we believe that “sand dunes make a desert as drops of dews make an ocean”.

To further such charitable purposes in the United Kingdom and in Bangladesh (the “areas of benefit”) as the directors determine from time to time in particular but without limitation to the foregoing by:

  1. Advancing education, training or retraining in particular but not exclusively among women;
  2. Promoting sustainable development for the benefit of the public by:

(a) The preservation, conservation and the protection of the environment and the prudent use of natural recourses;

(b) The relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life in socially and economically disadvantaged communities in the areas of benefit; and

(c) The promotion of sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration. Sustainable development to mean “devolvement that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet its own needs”; and by

  1. Developing the capacity and skills of those in the areas of benefit in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society.

NAID – Bangladesh BATHM:

Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Hospitality Management (BATHM) programmes created by NAID, being the first of its kind in Bangladesh since 2001. It is provided under IUBAT-International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh at College of Tourism and Hospitality Management which has opened opportunities to local and foreign nationals to be skilled, developed and resourceful in the area specified. It requires a four year study over 12 semesters, and consist of 46 courses over 142 credit hours and, includes a practical. For needy students, financial assistance is available.

NAID – Bangladesh Programmes:

· Social mobility through human capacity development for poverty alleviation
· Relief and rehabilitation
· Education and skill development
· Welfare and development activities targeted towards disadvantaged persons & orphans Entrepreneurial and income generating activities the youth,
particularly women

A degree programme created by NAID

The Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Hospitality Management (BATHM) is a programme created by NAID — the first of its kind in Bangladesh, running since 2001. Delivered through IUBAT (International University of Business Agriculture and Technology), Dhaka, at the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management, it has opened opportunities for local and international students to build skills and expertise in the field. The course runs over four years and 12 semesters, comprising 46 courses across 142 credit hours, including practical training. Financial assistance is available for students in need.
